Community Health Education

SOCUE is a nonprofit holistic wellness organization focused on communities of color. We’ve worked with SOCUE since February 2023. We worked with SOCUE to develop and implement a full-scale media strategy involving web design, media relations, crisis communications, content development, and film production. We also lead the development of their internal communications operations and trained SOCUE staff.

Strategic Goals

Our mission was to challenge the status quo, inspire conversation, and create meaningful, lasting impact in the community. Our strategic media campaign inspired our audience and pushed boundaries resulting in 28 prominent earned media placements reaching an audience of over 2M with $32,766 generated in Publicity Value.

  • Refine SOCUE’s brand voice to align with its mission to advance social equity through health education and policy advocacy.
  • Create a comprehensive communications strategy encompassing earned media, content marketing, and thought leadership.
  • Position SOCUE leadership as credible, community-centered experts in health and housing equity.

The Challenge

Build online visibility and strategic communications for a BIPOC-led health nonprofit. Educate the public on local voter issues.

Our Approach

Overhauled digital communications, thought leadership strategy, content development, and helped design outreach campaigns. Implemented a strategic crisis communications plan to educate the public on voter issues that affect SOCUE’s core audience.

The Results

Increased program participation, educated engaged publics about local voter issues, and reconnected the brand with its core community mission.
